Voalte In-App Feedback.

Purpose.

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform all hospital leaders and staff responsible for the support of Voalte Platform about the upcoming change to in-app feedback.

Background.

Voalte will be changing in-app feedback in a future release of Voalte Platform. The only purpose of in-app feedback will be to give users a chance to voice their opinion on the product. Feedback will be reviewed by the Voalte Product team.

Impact.

In-app feedback will only route to the Voalte Product team. Any production issues experienced by end users should be directed to the hospital’s help desk or to the Voalte Support team using one of the methods listed below.

  • Any production issues that need to be reported to the Voalte Support team should be done through the help desk portal, email, or by calling the help desk.

  • After your Voalte app upgrades to the version with this change, any submissions using in-app feedback will be treated as non-critical end user feedback about the product.
  • After your Voalte app upgrades to the version with this change, customers whose Feedback button is currently disabled will have a functioning in-app Feedback button. Customers who wish for end user issues to be reported to the hospital help desk should educate users to continue to do that.

Note: Currently, we do not plan to have an option to disable this feature. We find direct end user feedback very valuable at Voalte. We believe that hearing from the end users will help us better understand areas of improvement.

Note: We will not be able to offer a log of submitted feedback from your site.

Timeline. 

Voalte expects to release this new version with the in-app feedback change after October 9, 2020. When dates have been finalized, Voalte will send a bulletin giving one week of notice. At the time the bulletin is sent, we will also provide early access to those who wish to test the new in-app feedback experience.
