iOS 14 Release

Purpose.

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform all hospital leaders and staff responsible for the support of Voalte^® Platform of the release of iOS 14.

Background.

Today, Apple has announced that iOS 14 will be available to the public on 09/16/20.  

Impact.

Voalte has completed testing on the previous betas of iOS 14. Voalte is now testing the final release of iOS 14 against Voalte Me^® 3.7 and Voalte One™ 3.7. This final release was provided to developers today and will publicly available tomorrow.

Customers supporting Voalte One phones will need to sign a Controlled Release (CR) agreement prior to upgrading phones to iOS 14.

Future releases of Voalte Me and Voalte One will only be supported on iOS 13 and 14.

Next Steps.

A follow-up bulletin will be sent once testing is complete and validation is finalized.
