Customer Letters with Response Form mailed 8/30/2019:

Customer Letter  - Recommends customer remove device(s) from service and transition to a supported product.

Customer Response Form  - Response form used to update ownership status.  Identifier number will track to customer account information.

If customer is interested in a new AED they may contact Zoll Medical at 1 800 348 9011 or any other AED vendor of their choice.

AED / Defib End of Service and Accessories :  As of  2014-Mar-31

NO Service, Parts or Accessories are available through Welch Allyn or Zoll Medical for any MRL Jumpstart, MRL PIC, and Welch Allyn defibrillator  products comprised of the AED10, AED10 Trainer, AED20, PIC30, PIC40 and PIC 50.  

If the customer is inquiring about repair service or obtaining a replacement battery, pads, or other AED accessories:  “"The AED accessories you are requesting are no longer available. Please be aware that repair service and accessory sales for our defibrillator products ended as of March 31, 2014. Manufacturing of our defibrillator product line was discontinued in early 2009. In 2012 and 2013 we sent written notification of the planned end-of-service life date to all of our customers who previously purchased defibrillators.  I can send you the End of Service letter if needed. 

Do not refer the customer to any website to purchase AED accessories.  Welch Allyn can not be responsible for recommending any vendor for AED supplies! 

• Cardiac Science AEDs The Milwaukee tech support team does not support Cardiac Science AEDs. 
• Please refer them to Cardiac Sciences AED Division at 1-800-426-0337.

• AED Complaints:  If the purpose of the customer inquiry is to Report a patient incident, Death or Injury, malfunction, or a problem with use of a Welch Allyn AED product on a patient or to Inquire about a Welch Allyn AED Recall:   
• Get the the device serial number, name of facility where AED was being used, date of incident, the person who is calling name & contact info.
• Contact Zoll Medical at 1 800 348 9011  and give them the information
• If Zoll needs more information, they can call the customer
• Please refer any questions to Ed ONeil or Alan Hatch
