Configuring Voalte One to a test (sandbox) server.

Any devices configured to a test server must be re-configured to the production device prior to deployment. Please ensure that autoconfiguration is enabled.

iPhone

Option 1: Manually configure

  1. Hold finger down in the middle of the Voalte logo on the login screen until a second screen appears (5-10 seconds)
    1. Note: If you see the pop up "Autoconfiguration Failed. Please contact your administrator." Hold your finger on the "gur" in Autoconfiguration until a second screen appears (5-10 seconds).
  2. Change the first "Server" field (under AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION) to the hostname for the test server.
  3. Ensure that Use Autoconfig at the top remains enabled.
  4. Tap Save to return to log in screen.

Option 2: Configure through MDM

In the MDM, set up the application so that you can assign a server designation. Details on how to set that up are available on the knowledge base: /en/knowledge/article/portal/360022397291-Implementing-set-server-configuration-using-MDM

Android

Option 1: Manually configure

  1. Hold finger down in the middle of the Voalte logo on the login screen until a second screen appears (5-10 seconds)
  2. Uncheck auto config
  3. Scroll to and tap URLs paths
  4. Change the Server in the first place it appears to the hostname for the test server
  5. Tap back and re-check autoconfig
  6. Tap back to go back to log in screen

Option 2: Configure through MDM (available for TC51 only)
