Does leaving Voalte Admin open affect the Voalte Platform Server?

In order to minimize the load on the Voalte Platform Server™, Voalte strongly recommends having Voalte Admin™ open only when actively making changes. When you are done using Voalte Admin, log out of the application prior to closing the browser window or shutting off your computer.

In addition to logging out, you should not remain on any screen for an extended period of time, especially the Users screen. This screen constantly polls for updates even when the screen is not in the foreground of the computer. In addition to these recommendations, Voalte suggests limiting how many people have access to Voalte Admin so the number of active sessions is minimized. Limiting the number of active sessions helps prevent mistakes and overwriting another’s changes.
