Customers with Voalte Me or Voalte One 3.7 can choose to push the server configuration information down when the application is pushed through an MDM.
In order to do this, you must go into the MDM and find the location where the MDM asks for the key-value pair for application configuration. This will be in different places depending on the MDM being used.
Note: Phones must be enrolled in MDM (Android devices must be enrolled under Android for Work / Android Enterprise).
AirWatch or Voalte Connect
- Add the application to your environment.
- Voalte Me must be added under "Public"
- Voalte One iOS must be added under Purchased (acquired using VPP)
- Voalte One Android must be added under Public (acquired through Managed google play)
- Assign the application
- When adding an assignment, enable application configuration.
- Under Configuration Key, type in "server_autoconfig"
- This may be already filled in for Voalte One Android as "MDM Server Designation".
- Leave value type as String (if applicable)
- Configuration Value will depend on how the customer has the server configured. Please reach out to a Voalte representative for this information.
- For Voalte One, this value will be the IRIS hostname associated with the server.
- For Voalte Me, this value will be the Voalte Me hostname associated with the server with the port number added to the end (ex: vmehostname:433).

Other MDMs
For other MDMs, please consult your vendor for the location of the application configuration set up. Once you locate the place to enter the configuration information:

Note: When this feature is used for Voalte Me, the bottom of the Voalte Me login screen will not show the hospital name.
