24304-U Won't Fit

Our supplier (Nordon Tool & Mold) had an insert repaired incorrectly which allowed an ear speculum part to be produced that was not within specification.

As a result, customers may find that this particular ear speculum (24304-U) does not fit on the MacroView. For other otoscopes there is NO issue.

This issue began January 5, 2015. The exact number of customers affected is unknown.

There are no safety concerns- the ear speculum will simply not fit on the MacroView Otoscope. The ear speculum may simply be discarded by the user and try another size which would fit.

However, if a customer calls complaining of this issue, Nadja Briscoe approves offering the customer a free replacement of 24304-U due to the inconvenience.
