For 48810 GS Exam Lite 4, the 48805 focusing sleeve has a one year warranty.  If customer calls with problem and you determine it is the 48805 focusing sleeve, you may replace the 48805 under the 1 year warranty.

Per Tracy Bennett:  If the unit is more than a year old and the customer pushes back because they believe the focusing sleeve should be covered under the 5 year warranty, you may replace it for customer satisfaction @ nc for the first time with the customer.  Make sure to verify the customer is following our DFU cleaning instructions and are not using alcohol to clean the focusing sleeve lens.
