Qtel X12+ Transmitters

Unfortunately, we learned Friday 11/02/2018, and confirmed today that coupled with increased demand and end of life parts issues we have fully consumed all of our Q-Tel X12+ transmitters (one of the main component of the q-tel system) that were originally supposed to be phased out in April 2019.  

What we know this means so far for you and customers:

1.      No new POs will be accepted effective today for all Q-Tel systems.  

2.      All quotes should be canceled effective immediately.  

3.      All demos should be canceled \ declined.  

4.      We will provide tomorrow a canned email to use with customers.  

5.      Existing Customers will still be serviced as normal but note Service has limited supply so you can potentially expect longer lead times than normal.  

6.      Existing customer software updates will still proceed as planned.  

7.      Expansion of existing systems that require additional transmitters will only be possible on an extremely limited basis with potentially refurb units.  

8.      All MNO agreements will be honored when new product is available.  

9.      Targeted new product availability is scheduled tentatively for April 2019.  

         10.    We will communicate new product launch timing and demo unit availability as soon as we                       know more which likely won’t be till Jan.
