Shipping Label Guidelines

Criteria for providing Customer a FedEx or UPS Shipping Label to ship their product to Welch Allyn: 

All Web submitted RMAs are provided with a shipping label.

For RMAs created internally by Customer Support:

If the returnable field is 'YES' in the YR, we are required from a compliance standpoint to request the item back.

If the Product is:

  • PIC (Covered under a Partners in Care Service Agreement)
  • Canada 
  • OOBF - Out of Box failure
  • QOS - Quality of Service (Example: Wrong item Shipped, Shipping Damage, Wrong Information Given) 
  • Previous Repaired (Product Service Warranty)
  • Covered under Warranty (Including BP Gauge Repair & Calibration under warranty)

Action: Welch Allyn will provide a ground service shipping label, except if PIC customer. PIC Customers will have expedited shipping. Refer to PartsNow/Service Order Matrix for PIC Expedited Shipping details.   

NOTE: Shipping Labels will not be issued for non-warranty repairs, or if the YR Returnable Field defaults to No.
