Provisioning CT50h on Marshmallow OS

The following page will help guide you through provisioning a Honeywell CT50h on Marshmallow Operating System.

  1. Preparation for AirWatch Enrollment

    1. Power on device
    2. Confirm device is connected to Wi-Fi
    3. Confirm OS version, CommonES/PowerTools version, AirWatch Agent and Honeywell Helper apk installed
      1. Confirm device is on correct OS
        1. How to check -
          1. Tap Settings
          2. Scroll and Tap About Phone
          3. Scroll to Build Number
          4. Confirm correct OS on Services Info Sheet - or - with Voalte Project Manager/Customer Success Manager for account
            1. Marshmallow OS is:  71.01.14 (0223)
          5. If device is not on correct OS, please follow upgrade instructions
      2. Confirm device is on correct CommonES/PowerTools
        1. How to check - 
          1. Tap PowerTools
          2. Tap Backup
          3. Tap Allow on 4 prompts (if needed)
          4. Tap 3 dots in top right corner
          5. Tap About
          6. Confirm correct CommonES/Powertools version on Services Info Sheet - or - with Voalte Project Manager/Customer Success Manager for account
            1. CommonES/Powertools for 71.01.14-0223 Marshmallow is:  4.01.00.4023
          7. If device is not on correct CommonES/Powertools, please follow upgrade instructions
      3. Confirm device has AirWatch Agent and Honeywell Helper apk's installed 
        1. Minimum version for Marshmallow OS:
          1. AirWatch Agent 8.1
          2. Honeywell Helper 3.1
  2. Enroll into AirWatch via QR Code

    1. Launch AirWatch Agent apk
    2. Tap QR Enrollment
    3. Scan QR code
      1. QR code to be created by Voalte with AirWatch Enrollment information
        1. Code contains:
          1. AirWatch Server URL
          2. Customer GroupID
          3. Customer Enrollment Username
          4. *Password must be entered manually
    4. Enter Customers Enrollment Password
    5. Click through AW Screens (accept, continue, grant, etc)
    6. Device will reboot when configuration xml file is downloaded to device
    7. Once device reboots, swipe to unlock screen (continue to wait)
    8. Device will check and install new software (continue to wait) 
    9. Device will play a sound once the configuration file is installed,
  3. Finishing Steps

    1. Manual Touches
      1. Keyboard Settings
        1. Tap Settings
        2. Scroll and Tap Language and input
        3. Tap Android Keyboard (AOSP)
        4. Tap preferences
          1. Turn Off 
            1. Vibrate on Keypress
            2. Popup on Keypress
            3. Voice Input Key
        5. Pull down notification bar and click on "Provisioining", in the top right click the 3 dots then select Clear Complete and Errors
        6. Click AirWatch Agent
          1. Wait for "Configure" screen - tap Continue, click Exit
        7. Launcher launches
          1. Tap Grant
          2. Tap Launcher
          3. Toggle On
          4. Voalte Launches
          5. Tap back arrow on Voalte Pink Screen
          6. Click Dismiss
        8. Add Voalte to Do Not Optimize
          1. Settings
          2. Battery
          3. Add Voalte App to Do Not Optimize
      2.  Scanner - *IF NEEDED*
        1. Please confirm with Services Info Sheet - or - with Voalte Project Manager/Customer Success Manager for account
          1. Tap Settings
          2. Tap Scanning
          3. Tap Internal Scanning
          4. Tap Default Profile
          5. Tap Trigger Settings
          6. Tap Enable Scan Trigger
          7. Turn OFF
  4. Secure Launcher Manual Settings

    1. Clear all running applications by swiping off screen
    2. Tap Launcher
      1. Tap Always
    3. Voalte One Relaunches
      1. Wait for Voalte Login screen to present
      2. Tap anywhere on screen
      3. Tap notification above Keyboard "Suggest contact names? Touch for info." 
        1. This will remove the notification
    4. Reboot Device
      1. Wait for Voalte to go to login screen
    5. Power off device
