Upgrading Pivot - Example Steps

HOSPITAL Medical Center Instructions - 

Please follow these steps to upgrade the following:

• AirWatch Agent from 5.x to 7.3
• Install Spectralink Pivot OEM 3.0 application
• Upgrade operating system from KitKat to Lollipop
• Upgrade Voalte One application

1. Collect devices in batches for upgrades
   1. Exit Secure Launcher on each device
   2. Launch AirWatch Agent
2. Login to AirWatch Console
   1. Navigate to: Devices List View
      1. Filter → Advanced → Tags
         1. Select the devices you have with you
         2. More actions - Add Tags for the following - select all 3
            1. Add - 1 - Agent 7.3 Tag
            2. Add - 2 - Pivot OEM 3.0 Tag
            3. Add - 3 - Voalte One Upgrade Tag
            4. Click Save
         3. On the device you will see the download icon in the top left corner
            1. When applications begin to install, click Cancel, this will happen 3 times
               1. If device does not prompt 3 times, please click "Sync" on the device until all 3 prompts occur
            2. In AirWatch Agent - Click Managed Apps
               1. Install the following in this order: 
                  1. Click Voalte One 3.4.9
                     1. Click Install
                     2. Once installed, click Done
                     3. Navigate back to Managed Application
                  2. Click Agent 7.3
                     1. Click Install
                     2. Once installed, device returns to application screen, then launches Launcher
                     3. Click Continue
                     4. Click “launcher” Just Once
                     5. Again, click “Launcher” Just Once
                  3. Return to Airwatch Agent, Managed App, click Platform OEM Service
                     1. Click “Next” until you can install
                     2. Secure Launcher will launch
                     3. Click “Launcher” just once, twice
            3. Navigate to Settings on device
               1. Select - Admin Settings
               2. Enter password - admin
               3. Scroll to bottom, select System Update
               4. Enter Upgrade information - PLESE FILL IN
               5. On device, will see a download arrow in top left corner
               6. Once download is complete, device will play an audible tone, you can now click to install OS
            4. Click Launcher
               1. Select Secure Launcher
               2. Set to Always
3. You are complete
