Voalte Me iOS 3.7.18 Release Notes

Executive summary.

Voalte Me 3.7 offers exciting new features that further the ability to have a personalized user experience. You can set up and modify notification delivery to ensure the most important messages get to you, regardless of your phone's mute or on do not disturb settings. You can also choose notification tones that differentiate you from your colleagues.

Most features require upgrading the Voalte Platform Server. The Voalte Me 3.7.18 application is available starting 06/02/21. Please reach out to your Voalte representative for more information.

Supported operating systems.

The minimum operating system required for Voalte Me 3.7.18 is iOS 13.1. Please refer to the iOS Validations Support article for specifics regarding each iOS release.

IOS-9614	List of Teams not updated after deleting a Team in Voalte Admin	Force quit or logout and log back in.
IOS-9562	While viewing "My Profile" and an assigned patient is moved to a new room, the patient room number will not update dynamically.	Navigate away then back to "My Profile".
IOS-9558	An assigned patient may show as being in a virtual room when viewing "My Profile".	Exit "My Profile" and re-enter. The room will then display next to the patient's name.
IOS-9051	[Temporary Notification] If a user views a Voalte alert in the expanded detail view and closes it, then three or more Voalte alerts are received in succession very quickly, the new alerts cannot be opened in the expanded detailed view or cleared.	Based on the steps required to reproduce, this issue is uncommon.The workaround is to restart the device.
IOS-8353	Voalte doesn't display a logout popup, when logging out while not connected to wifi.	Reconnect to wifi, and retry the logout attempt.
IOS-8038	The app will not configure to a second server if background_connectivity timeout expired when logged into current server before tapping SMS invite (or legacy link).	Log out before using SMS link.
IOS-8007	While in search mode, the star next to a newly favorited unit or team may not appear after tapping into a unit or team and backing out.	None. This is cosmetic. Units and teams will be favorited correctly and appear under the Favorites section.
IOS-7984	Some notifications may be received twice when receiving multiple notifications at one time while the application is not connected to the server.	None.
IOS-7935	The app shows the "Autoconfiguration Failed" and the "Autoconfiguring" screens intermittently when attempting to configure to a server that is not functioning when using the Site Code.	Force close to break out of the configuration cycle. Attempt to configure and log in when the server is operational.
IOS-7858	[New Alert Banner] Most recent alert notification is shown again when bringing the app to the foreground if the alert was not viewed in the Alert tab previously.	View alerts in the Alerts tab.
IOS-7798	The app remains stuck Auto-configuring after losing and regaining wifi or cell signal (no connection at all).	Force close and relaunch application. If the user loses wifi but still has cell service, the issue does not occur.
IOS-7791	The Allow Face ID/Touch ID pop-up for PIN lock is not displayed when initially attempting to enable the feature.	Let the PIN lock expire or force close and relaunch the application.
IOS-7788	When receiving multiple messages in a new conversation, the conversation is scrolled up and all the available messages are marked as read.	Scroll up to read all messages in a new conversation that has messages that scrolled off the screen.
IOS-7768	The name of the section (example: "Buildings") from where a search is started moves to the top left side of the screen after entering a collapsed role, going back and canceling the search.	None. This is a cosmetic defect.
IOS-7732	[iPhone 5S, SE] The text from Change PIN screen is trimmed when the last field is back in focus after dismissing the keyboard.	Cancel the screen and come back or force close and relaunch the application.
IOS-7720	App crashes in New Message when recipients are added in 'To:' field and the user responds to an MCR alarm	Restart the application, and initiate the message again.
IOS-7607	Recipients cannot be removed from the recipient list, if additional letters are typed in while their names are selected.	Keep tapping the delete key until all the previously inputted characters are erased.
IOS-7598	The chat box is automatically exited when sending a group message from viewing a collapsed role in group messaging mode through search.	Open the conversation from the history view, which should be the top one in view.
IOS-7590	Users are not shown as selected when returning to the Search results list after drilling into a role, department or team view and selecting them.	This is cosmetic. The users selected when drilling down will be included in the group message. Scrolling the Search Result list will cause the selections to appear.
IOS-7523	The site code error pop-up may appear twice if the app is backgrounded and then foregrounded after the incorrect site code was entered or if network connectivity was lost when the correct site code was entered.	Enter site code in again or force close and relaunch the application.
IOS-7515	If a user tries to paste something into a custom status with more than 30 characters, nothing will paste at all.	Paste something with 30 characters or less (or 60 depending on your version of Voalte).
IOS-7507	The advanced options are not displayed in new message until a recipient is added.	Add a recipient then go to advanced options.
IOS-7504	Changing the font size by pinching in or out will also scroll the conversation.	Scroll back to the desired position in the conversation.
IOS-7503	Patient information is not loaded correctly for user set to unavailable who has a default role without patient viewing privileges (but role selected prior to unavailable had viewing privileges).	Switch back to Available or Busy to see information correctly.
IOS-7502	Search is dismissed by "Your number will be shown" pop-up when trying to call another Voalte Me user from a search.	Start a new search if desired.
IOS-7485	The app might crash or remain stuck reconnecting if the user is disconnected while being disconnected.	Force close and relaunch the application.
IOS-7465	The active call is not audible while the ringtone for the Critical notification is played.	This issue has been reported to Apple. Critical Alerts can be configured off until the issue is resolved.
IOS-7461	[iOS 12 Critical Alerts feature] The incoming call ringer stops playing after the user receives or dismisses a Critical Alert notification.	None.
IOS-7402	The banner notification indicating that a conversation is muted is not shown when backgrounding and then launching the application while on the conversation screen.	None.

IOS-7376	If a user attempts to sign into a client (through SSO) that he or she does not have permission for, he or she will be returned to the log in screen without any error message.	Verify that the user account has client permissions.
IOS-7360	A user is able to text/call himself or herself when searching for a role that he or she currently holds.	None.
IOS-7357	The user is placed into the Self Assignment process after selecting to "Proceed with no role or location" from the Bump pop-up followed by a server restart.	Select "Proceed with no role or location" again after server recovers.

IOS-6832	[Active events alarm style] If a user is performing a search while in a group message mode, backgrounds the app, receives an MCR alarm and taps the notification, the MCR redirect will not work properly.	Do not background the application until you are done performing a search while in group message mode.
IOS-6754	A draft custom message will not retain if a model screen (ex: incoming call) is received or the screen is locked.	Re-enter the custom message.
IOS-6749	Tapping the Back button immediately after entering a conversation may not work.	Tap back after the keyboard has expanded.
IOS-6726	User receives audible notification and vibrations for unacknowledged alarms previously received if the app is force closed while the Active Events screen is displayed.	Respond to the alarms prior to force closing the application.
IOS-6717	Cancel button remains visible temporarily when sending a large group message.	Leave the current screen.
IOS-6704	The recipient of an ad-hoc group message with replies off is able to start a group message with the same title and recipients. If original message had been read, the second message will be stuck on "Sending" in the same conversation.	None.
IOS-6684	If a user is assigned to a patient that moved to a different unit and switches to a role without patient viewing privileges, he or she can still see the patient information under My Profile.	Force close and relaunch the application.
IOS-6623	The "Clear Conversation" button does not work properly when creating a group message.	Exit and enter the conversation.
IOS-6604	The Active Events screen is dismissed when responding to an alarm with a chat interapp option and then tapping Cancel on the Unavailable waring pop up.	None.
IOS-6514	"Recipients cannot reply to this messages" message is not displayed when once 31 recipients are added to a message.	None.
IOS-6512	After reaching 31 recipients in ad-hoc mode, the message remains broadcast even if you remove recipients.	Manually change the replies permitted setting to desired option.
IOS-6475	"Facility" is displayed instead of sender's first name in the default subject of a group message started from a patient's care team view that is not assigned to a room.	Manually edit subject to match desired text.
IOS-6400	Previously favorited user still appears in Favorites after being deactivated.	Manually remove user from favorites.
IOS-6262	The on-call schedule is dismissed after receiving a text notification or an external inter-app URI.	Open on-call schedule again from Menu.
IOS-6242	Voalte Me attempts to call an IVR, extension of a user that is signed into Voalte Me without a preferred number saved when the call is initiated by sliding across the role name.	None.
IOS-6239	The role of the sender will not be displayed in the text message notification if they have multiple units, no department, and the home unit is not selected.	None.
IOS-6167	Incoming alarms are not received by the user if the application was force-closed while in edit shift mode.	Complete the edit shift process.
IOS-6124	Directory button icon will disappear when the user enters group message mode, performs a search, and selects one of the search results or hits "Compose" without selecting anything.	Tapping the location where the directory button icon normally is will still function as expected, and will cause the icon to reappear.
IOS-6119	User not removed from Team after being bumped from exclusive role linked to Team access.	Force quit/relaunch.
IOS-5886	The previously viewed screen is partially shown when logging out from the PIN Lock screen.	None.
IOS-5805	The quick message is appended to the existing text instead of being inserted where the cursor is.	None.
IOS-5763	Badge count does not clear if kicked out by logging in on another device.	None.
IOS-5671	A room may not display the patient properly if a user changes roles from a role without patient viewing permissions to a role with patient viewing permission without logging out.	Enter any room in the affected unit.
IOS-5509	The patient may not be displayed if you search for patients and quickly tap one of the results while it is still loading.	This can happen when very quickly selecting from the top of the list while the requested "Load more" search results are loading. Give the search results a second to load.
IOS-5469	The Exit button from group messaging mode is not displayed in My Rooms screen.	Navigate to a different screen where the Exit button is displayed.
IOS-5467	Only the contact name is displayed in Contacts instead of number and name.	Tap on the contact in order to see more detail.
IOS-5463	If the user searches for a Department, Unit or Team from Directory Root the Directory button takes them back to Search instead of the Directory.	Cancel search.
IOS-5324	The chat box elements of the latest message are overlapped by the keyboard when the text and image are in the same bubble.	Scroll through in the chat box.
IOS-3041	[VMe] The volume of Local Notifications (Alarm/Text) is played based on "Ringer" path while in background/screen locked.	Set both “Ringer” and “Volume” to the same level to not miss a notification.
IOS-2989	A user can still be observed in the team that they are no longer assigned to if another user has taken their Role (bumped).	This only happens for users viewing the Team when a User is bumped from the Role that allowed them to be included in the Team. That Role is removed from the User entry, so you can see that the User no longer has the Role. Force close and restart to clear the User from the Team.
IOS-1993	The Keyboard/Text Entry field breaks while scrolling through messages.	None.
