Voalte One iOS 3.7.18 Release Notes

Executive summary.

Voalte One 3.7 offers exciting new features that further the electronic health record (EHR) integration experience. You can link patient listings to third-party applications so you can quickly get more patient information, view EHR roles within Voalte One, and create group messages with patient-centric titles. Voalte One 3.7 also introduces single sign-on (SSO) support for a smoother experience when starting your shift.

Most features require upgrading to Voalte Platform Server 3.7. Voalte One 3.7.18 is available starting 06/02/21. Please reach out to your Voalte representative for more information.

Supported devices and operating systems.

The minimum operating system required for Voalte One 3.7.18 is iOS 13.1. Please refer to the iOS Validations Support article for specifics regarding each iOS release.

IOS-9162	When a client connected to 3.7.9 server or older with the app force closed, receives two incoming calls and answers one of them, no missed call notifications will be shown.	The call history screen is still correctly populated and should be referred back to.
IOS-9051	[Temporary Notification] If a user views a Voalte alert in the expanded detail view and closes it, then three or more Voalte alerts are received in succession very quickly, the new alerts cannot be opened in the expanded detailed view or cleared.	Based on the steps required to reproduce, this issue is uncommon.The workaround is to restart the device.
IOS-9028	The application ignores a semicolon in a call string to indicate a pause.	Use a comma instead of a semicolon.

IOS-8750	A user's presence is not updated when a second user is viewing their profile and receives an alarm, the first user logs out, and then the second user dismisses the alarm.	Navigate to a different screen and then come back.

IOS-7898	Native iPhone tone is played instead of tone selected in Admin if the app is launched by tapping on the app icon at the same moment that you receive a call.	Force quit and relaunch application to restore Voalte ringtone.

IOS-7788	When receiving multiple messages in a new conversation, the conversation is scrolled up and all the available messages are marked as read.	Scroll up to read all messages in a new conversation that has messages that scrolled off the screen.
IOS-7768	The name of the section (example: "Buildings") from where a search is started moves to the top left side of the screen after entering a collapsed role, going back and canceling the search.	None. This is a cosmetic defect.

IOS-7590	Users are not shown as selected when returning to the Search results list after drilling into a role, department or team view and selecting them.	This is cosmetic. The users selected when drilling down will be included in the group message. Scrolling the Search Result list will cause the selections to appear.
IOS-7587	"Please see a system administrator. (Could not retrieve APNS token.)" error is displayed in Autoconfiguration screen	Background, then foreground the application again, then force quit and relaunch.
IOS-7550	The audio stream starts with a 1-2 seconds delay after the call connects when choosing to "End & Accept" for a second call.	None.
IOS-7544	Alarm notifications sent while the user has no server or internet connection will have the notifications shown out of order when the connection is regained.	None. Alarm timestamps are still correct.
IOS-7515	If a user tries to paste something into a custom status with more than 30 characters, nothing will paste at all.	Paste something with 30 characters or less (or 60 depending on your version of Voalte).
IOS-7507	The advanced options are not displayed in new message until a recipient is added.	Add a recipient then go to advanced options.
IOS-7504	Changing the font size by pinching in or out will also scroll the conversation.	Scroll back to the desired position in the conversation.
IOS-7465	The active call is not audible while the ringtone for the Critical notification is played.	This issue has been reported to Apple. Critical Alerts can be configured off until the issue is resolved.
IOS-7461	[iOS 12 Critical Alerts feature] The incoming call ringer stops playing after the user receives or dismisses a Critical Alert notification.	None.
IOS-7409	[Banner alert style] The user is not properly redirected to the non-voice inter-app action if responding while in the middle of transferring an active call.	Tap the "Tap Here To Use Voalte While On A Call" and respond from Alert History.
IOS-7402	The banner notification indicating that a conversation is muted is not shown when backgrounding and then launching the application while on the conversation screen.	None.
IOS-7396	Audio is routed to earpiece instead of speaker if using "Hold & Answer" to answer a second incoming call while on speakerphone or if original caller looses connection to the server.	None.
IOS-7384	[Banner alert style] The alarm history does not scroll to the most recent alarm when tapping on an alarm notification after scrolling down on the alarm history tab.	Scroll to the top to see the most recent alarm.
IOS-7376	If a user attempts to sign into a client (through SSO) that he or she does not have permission for, he or she will be returned to the log in screen without any error message.	Verify that the user account has client permissions.
IOS-7372	The person who picks up a desk phone that is receiving a redirected Voalte call may hear DTMF tones.	None.
IOS-7360	A user is able to text/call himself or herself when searching for a role that he or she currently holds.	None.
IOS-7357	The user is placed into the Self Assignment process after selecting to "Proceed with no role or location" from the Bump pop-up followed by a server restart.	Select "Proceed with no role or location" again after server recovers.
IOS-7345	The app remains stuck with "Auto-configuration Failed" pop-up displayed after a server restart while the log-in screen is shown.	Tap the 'Retry' button from the pop-up.
IOS-7316	In very rare scenarios, a user might receive a notification, but the received item doesn't show when entering the app. Then the user might get an error when sending any request.	Restart the app. Logout and back in if the restart doesn't cause the received item to show.
IOS-7293	Edits to (or removal of) Teams will not dynamically update in the application while editing shift.	Wait until edits are complete to edit shift in order to see updates.
IOS-7261	Using a search inter-app before/during a server failover will cause all inter-apps to not function properly when the server recovers.	Force close and re-launch application.
IOS-7187	Any red-written error displayed on the login screen will be displayed again after a background-foreground even though it was previously dismissed.	Type in the fields to dismiss error again.
IOS-7115	In rare cases, the badge count may be incremented by one after sending a message.	Log out and back into the application.
IOS-6930	Application may crash when using Accept & Call alarm option after tapping on alarm notification (app in background).	Re-launch application
IOS-6917	[Banner alert style] If a user taps on an alarm notification while taking a photo or before attaching a photo that he or she has just taken, the camera will be dismissed and the user will lose the photo if one was taken.	Send photo before tapping alarm notification.
IOS-6832	[Active events alarm style] If a user is performing a search while in a group message mode, backgrounds the app, receives an MCR alarm and taps the notification, the MCR redirect will not work properly. IOS-6808	DTMF tone may be heard on the next call if the previous call was ended while typing a number into the keypad.	Do not hold down the keypad while the call is ending.
IOS-6755	Display name does not update on the user's My Profile page if changed in Admin while the user is logged in.	Force quit and relaunch application.
IOS-6754	A draft custom message will not retain if a model screen (ex: incoming call) is received or the screen is locked.	Re-enter the custom message.
IOS-6750	The user is not redirected to the Active Events screen if the user taps the alarm notification banner after answering a call.	Wait a few seconds after answering a call before tapping the alarm notification banner.
IOS-6749	Tapping the Back button immediately after entering a conversation may not work.	Tap back after the keyboard has expanded.
IOS-6726	User receives audible notification and vibrations for unacknowledged alarms previously received if the app is force closed while the Active Events screen is displayed.	Respond to the alarms prior to force closing the application.
IOS-6717	Cancel button remains visible temporarily when sending a large group message.	Leave the current screen.
IOS-6704	The recipient of an ad-hoc group message with replies off is able to start a group message with the same title and recipients. If original message had been read, the second message will be stuck on "Sending" in the same conversation.	None.
IOS-6688	The in-call screen is displayed when responding to a multiple choice response alert with an inter-app URI link during a call.	Select the "Tap to use Voalte while in a call" banner.
IOS-6684	If a user is assigned to a patient that moved to a different unit and switches to a role without patient viewing privileges, he or she can still see the patient information under My Profile.	Force close and relaunch the application.
