Inter-app video is available on Voalte Platform 3.7.10 and above.
To use Video inter-app calling in 3.7.10, the desired endpoint must have an inter-app URL that corresponds to the device’s third-party application. The current Hillrom approved video calling applications are Apple FaceTime, Zoom and Skype.
The inter-app URL for Apple FaceTime, will correspond to the Apple ID signed into the device. For Zoom, this will be the Personal Meeting ID tied to the Zoom account on the device. Skype will use the Skype username signed into the device. Each of these IDs must be unique per device and must fit the required inter-app URL format which is noted below. It is the hospital’s responsibility to set up and provide the endpoint device accounts and URLs. The URL format can be found below.

Voalte PlatformTM Server Setup
Depending on the desired application - Voalte OneTM or Voalte MeTM - video_call_enabled must be enabled within Voalte AdminTM. Please contact your Voalte representative to have this setting enabled.
Note: If you are using FaceTime URLs, it is recommended that you use Voalte One only, since using FaceTime on Voalte Me will reveal your personal Apple ID to the other party.
The next step is to upload the desired video URLs to column J next to the corresponding room locations in the export of Buildings, Units, Rooms CSV (see below example). As a reminder, the URLs should match the format given in this document.

Once the CSV is uploaded to Voalte Admin, and there is either a patient or Voalte user in the desired room, the caregiver will see the video icon in the top right as shown below.
