These are guidelines – class types and times can be adjusted as needed
When selecting a training schedule:
- A maximum of 6 classes per training day within a maximum of 10 consecutive hours between 0700 and 1900, local time.
- Meal breaks should be a minimum of 1 hour
- Thirty minute break between classes if not changing location; variable if changing location dependent on the distance between areas and A/V complexity
- Whether one class or six are scheduled/conducted, full training day is deducted.
- Scheduling options will be emailed to your after today’s call. Please note that class types on the schedules can be adjusted to fit your hospital’s needs and those class times can be adjusted to fit within these guidelines.
Shift considerations:
- Will staff attend before/after shift, on personal/off time, or leaving floor mid-shift?
- Before/After: Allow time for the user to wrap up shift
- Mid-shift: how many users can leave the floor concurrently?
- avoid med distribution or other high activity times
- Potential challenges/barriers to success:
- Holidays/common vacation times near training dates?
- Concurrent training, transitions to new systems, etc.
